It’s the nature of the beast in this business and since Resolve has grown substantially by incorporating complex pro VFX and audio functionality into its already existing colour grading and editing backbone, all we can do is actually embrace it and be thankful for the company’s commitment to ensuring Resolve gets better and better. This eventually leads to a long list of Beta releases. Much of this is thanks to the great community of Resolve users, who are doing the hard work of identifying bugs and problems and reporting them to Blackmagic Design, whose engineers fix them. This is Public Beta 7 release, and while it is hard to tell whether there will be an 8th or 9th, the good news is that Blackmagic Design are making it a priority as with all their software to continuously ensure that their industry favourite NLE/editing suite is more stable with better functionality before it goes live officially as a finished version (or will it ever be). Yes, there is another public beta release for Resolve 15.
